Taper #8 collects works that fit in 2048 bytes, source included, so the constraint is the form: every character spent on a variable name is a character not spent on the image. What runs is 8-bit memory in both senses, the machine's and the kind that surfaces and goes. Fragments assemble and dissolve. The source is short enough to read in a minute, and reading it is one way of seeing the work.
