Carol Rama's house in Turin. The sources of the Mekong and the Yangtze, in the Tibetan highlands. A cockfight in Bali. In each case the algorithm arrives second, and works on material that was collected by hand, in a place that had to be reached. The group is named for the material, because recording is only where the work begins.
