Impossible Gardens

The growth algorithm that later branches through a corpus in Neural Prometheus is here turned on empty ground, with geometry underneath it instead of text. The specimens are placed on the sheet by rules taken from the classic algorithms of early computer art. What comes out has the look of an old illustrated flora: specimens laid side by side for comparison, drawn with the patience of a plate rather than the speed of a render. Nothing here was observed. The botany is complete and the plants are missing.
